Nicolas Cuesta is a driving force behind CarbonBetter’s success, balancing his dual roles of managing pipeline trading and supporting the growth of the company’s Colombia office. With a focus on finding the perfect harmony between hard work and an engaging corporate culture, Nicolas leads by example, demonstrating the value of continuous improvement and teamwork. Outside the office, he applies the same commitment to his personal life, staying active with CrossFit, delving into finance and economics, and enjoying quality time with his family. Nicolas, what do you love about working at CarbonBetter?

I love the people and the culture. We’ve been doing a great job of finding the perfect balance between working hard and enjoying our time in the office.

What does your day-to-day look like at CarbonBetter?

My mornings are focused on gas scheduling and providing traders with all the information they need to properly trade the pipelines I’m responsible for. In the afternoons, I usually handle issues at the Colombia office, coordinating with managers to assess candidates and grow our presence there.

Do you have any personal or professional goals that you'd like to share?

One of my primary goals is to help the Colombia office grow beyond all forecasts, building a strong team with an exceptional corporate culture and work ethic.
