OKO Forests is located in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. OKO began as a reforestation project, creating a buffer zone adjacent to the Kogyae Strict Nature Reserve (KSNR). The project protects and enhances biodiversity while creating sustainability socioeconomic benefits from nearby communities.
