Business Development Analyst

Laura is a Business Development Analyst on CarbonBetter’s Climate Services team, where she helps clients navigate their sustainability journeys—from calculating carbon footprints and quantifying environmental impacts to developing decarbonization strategies and producing annual sustainability reports.

Before joining CarbonBetter, Laura worked at South Pole, where she specialized in carbon credit procurement and project optimization. In that role, she sourced and managed carbon credits from across the Latin America, ensuring each project met rigorous quality standards while contributing to climate mitigation and sustainable development goals. With deep experience in the voluntary carbon market (VCM), Laura brings commercial and technical expertise in project due diligence, carbon trading support, ESG strategy, and risk assessment.

Laura holds a BEng in Environmental Engineering from EIA University in Colombia and a technical degree in Biotechnology from UCO University.
