Meet Yesterdae, CarbonBetter’s Regulatory Coordinator. Yesterdae has been a part of the CarbonBetter team for over four years, and in that time she’s advanced through several positions thanks to her willingness to take on any task, her reliability, and her ability to figure almost anything out that lands on her desk. Yesterdae always has a positive attitude and is willing to lend a hand to anyone who needs it—we are so lucky to work with her every day. Let’s get to know Yesterdae!
Yesterdae, what do you love about working at CarbonBetter?
I love my job because people care about me as a person and about my professional growth.
What does your day-to-day look like at CarbonBetter?
I always start my day by reviewing customer enrollments from the previous day and assigning quality check callbacks to our customer service representatives. On a daily basis, I complete a wide range of tasks including processing regulatory renewals, enrollment response exceptions, customer escalation requests, and so forth.
Do you have any professional goals that you’d like to share?
My current professional goal is to take on a few responsibilities and skills related to leadership, such as training new team members. That’s something I’ve been eager to start doing.

I have three children, and they are AWESOME!
Where did you grow up and what's your favorite spot there?
I grew up in Austin, Texas. Austin wasn't even originally called Austin—it was called "Waterloo." The name was changed to honor Stephen F. Austin, the "Father of Texas" and the republic's first secretary of state. My favorite spot in Austin is Barton Springs Pool.
Do you have any personal sustainability habits that are important to you?
Recycling, using tote bags for groceries since I have a large family that grocery shops weekly, supporting others in the community with my extra resources, and helping my children to be zero-waste kids—and making it cool while doing so.
What are some of your hobbies?
I enjoy making gift baskets, party favors, and decor. (check out her talents in the photos above!)
What is something that people are usually surprised to learn about you?
My name is Yesterdae (Yes, like yesterday) and I have siblings named Tamara (Tomorrow), Todae (Today), and Tonite (Tonight). 🤯
Do you have any pets? Tell us about them!
I have one dog, his name is Peanut. If you ask anyone, he is my bonus child.
