Dominic Sung
Director, Business Development
Dominic is Director of Business Development for CarbonBetter. He joined the company in 2022 with a focus on growing the Climate Services business by partnering with clients on their sustainability journey to measure, report, and reduce their emissions in a transparent, traceable, and pragmatic way.
Prior to CarbonBetter, Dominic spent almost 20 years with bp in a variety of roles in their Gas and Power Trading business, the bulk of which was focused on strategic structured origination, derivatives marketing and risk management, and working to commercialize renewable and sustainable ventures and projects for the company. Spanning the entire US, Dominic has an extensive background in natural gas, power, NGLs, crude and crude products trading, hedging, and project development.
Dominic graduated from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Honors and Finance. In the spare time he is afforded after chasing two boys around the house, he is passionate about the arts, enjoys being an outdoorsman, is an avid sports fan, is a whiskey and spirits aficionado, and loves to travel and explore the world through food.
